Jordan began her ministry with First Christian on September 15, 2013. She brings a unique perspective to her ministry, as First Christian is Jordan’s home church. Her natural enthusiasm, musical and theatrical gifts, and outgoing personality are cornerstones for her ministry. Besides keeping busy with her family – husband Andrew and son Noah – and her work, Jordan sings with the band Exit Up.
Racene, a lifelong resident of Shelby County, is a graduate of Shelby County High School and Cumberland College (now known as the University of the Cumberlands). Busy with her ministry at First Christian Church since October of 2007, Racene is also active with the Jennie C. Benedict Circle (a Christian service organization) and volunteering with the Shelby County Community Theatre and the Shelby County Girl Scouts. Her husband, Bert, is the pastor of Friendship Christian Church in Frankfort, and they are the proud parents of a teenage daughter, Amy, who keeps their lives busy. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve with First Christian and for the many wonderful people with whom she interacts.
